Platform Pro and OMG Roofing Partner for Non-Invasive HVAC Stand Assembly
Assembly is designed to withstand the elements and will be on display at the International Roofing Expo

Platform Pro and OMG Roofing Products have partnered to offer the roofing industry what Platform Pro says is the first non-invasive roof HVAC stand assembly designed to manage uplift, shear, and compressive forces.
In a Jan. 22 news release, Platform Pro says the OMG PowerGrip Universal Roof Mount has been paired with the Platform Pro FR Roof Stand low slope HVAC roof stand. The OMG PowerGrip Universal Roof Mount is installed over the roof membrane and insulation assembly to the structural roof deck.
The legs of the Platform Pro FR Stand are then attached to the OMG PowerGrip Universal Roof Mount. The roofing membrane system is flashed to the 1.5-inch-diameter legs of the Platform Pro FR Stand per the roof manufacturer's standard roofing detailing.
This unique assembly provides for the installation of the roof HVAC stand without the need to remove or replace the existing roof assembly. Once completed, this assembly is warrantable per the standard roof manufacturers’ warranty for the roof system assembly.
