Ambassador Supply has appointed Tim Richards as its new director of post-frame construction and pole barns, effective immediately, the company said on Thursday.
“Tim will be an integral part of the Steel Vertical Team,” said Doug Stephens, vertical president of Ambassador Supply Steel. “He brings over 30 years of manufacturing experience with a wealth of expertise in plant leadership, sales, quality assurance, and leadership/cultural development.
In a Jan. 18 news release, Ambassador said with its recent acquisitions, organic growth, and team solidification, Richards’ leadership experience would “make a significant impact” on the company’s future.
Richards has served in various roles at multiple Indiana companies, including as a certified quality assurance technician, production group leader and supervisor, plant manager, operations leader, and director of leadership development.
In his new role as director of PFC/pole barns, the company said Richards would lead several companies under the Ambassador Supply umbrella toward continued growth and success.
“I’m excited to join Ambassador Supply and work within the Steel Vertical Team,” said Richards. “Having spent over three decades in manufacturing, I’m eager to leverage my experience and meaningfully contribute to a company whose values align with mine.”
As Ambassador Supply continues to experience growth in the pole barn and metal building industry, the company is recruiting driven professionals who thrive in thinking outside the box and have a strong understanding of the industry.
“We’re confident that Tim’s overall knowledge and perspective in operations, and his passion for building leadership teams, align seamlessly with the demands of this role,” Stephens added.
