KYOCERA SENCO Industrial Tools, Inc., a leader in pneumatic and cordless fastening solutions, announced on Monday that Tom Hodson has been promoted to vice president of marketing and sales and will lead the execution of marketing, communications, and sales growth strategies.
“Tom has a vast understanding of SENCO’s products, people and capabilities and has used that to position SENCO as an industry leader in his areas of responsibility, and for that reason, he has my confidence in this new role driving SENCO’s marketing and growth initiatives,” Cliff Mentrup, CEO of KYOCERA SENCO Industrial Tools, said in a June 10 news release.
Hodson’s predecessor, Dave Moore, retired in May. During his 17-year tenure, SENCO said Moore “substantially grew SENCO’s hardware-wholesale business and increased the company’s presence” in Canada.
“Dave will be missed for his many contributions, clear insight, and dedication to SENCO, its customers, and his coworkers,” Mentrup said of Moore.
Hodson has been with SENCO for 21 years and began his tenure as a territory sales manager. Prior to his latest role, he spent six years as SENCO’s director of channel marketing and national accounts, where he drove SENCO’s channel strategy and grew sales with national dealers and distributors.
