GAF, a Standard Industries company and leader in North American roofing and waterproofing, announced that its TimberSteel premium metal roofing system will now be available in states across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.

Specifically, states including: Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, the District of Columbia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, and Florida.

The TimberSteel system now comes in 8 colors to complement regional varied roof styles:

  • Rustic Red
  • Evergreen
  • Mariner Blue
  • Obsidian Black
  • Charcoal Gray
  • Platinum Gray
  • Dark Bronze
  • Terra Bronze

“GAF is committed to providing homeowners with innovative, durable, and visually striking roofing solutions,” said Charles Lake, senior director, Residential Product Marketing.

“With the expansion of our TimberSteel premium metal roofing system,” he added, “we’re excited to offer a combination of aesthetic appeal and top-tier quality that customers expect from GAF.”

GAF says the TimberSteel system allows asphalt crews to install it in about half the time of traditional standing seam metal roofs, thanks to its interlocking and nail-gunnable design.

The company says that TimberSteel-branded metal components are fabricated from GALVALUME steel, which combines the qualities of steel, aluminum, and zinc for enhanced strength and corrosion resistance. Additionally, the metal field shingles are UL 2218 Class 4 certified for impact resistance.

In addition, the TimberSteel system is backed by an industry-leading 30-year workmanship coverage when installed by a GAF Metal Certified Contractor and purchased with a TimberSteel ArmorPledge Limited Warranty.
