Met-Tile Inc., Ontario, Calif., offers a newly updated roofing product that is designed for hotel and motel renovation and other commercial remodeling projects. The lightweight “tile panel” roofing is now offered in a long-life, environmentally friendly paint finish in 10 designer colors. Made of galvanized steel, it weights just 1.25 pounds per square foot. Resembling tile, the product actually consists of long-length (up to 20 feet), 3-foot-wide panels that are applied vertically from eave to ridge and tightly secured with screw fasteners.
