MBTechnology manufactures a full line of SBS underlayment “layfast SBS.” By modifying the asphalt with SBS rubber layfast possess an electrometric property that is not available in felt or synthetic underlayments. Layfast SBS has a higher percentage of asphalt for increased waterproofing. It is available in three weights: 35, 43 and 70 pounds per square. It is approved by ICC and meets ASTM D226 standard.
