Charles Antis, Founder and CEO of Antis Roofing & Waterproofing, began his career as a roofing professional in 1984. Since then, he has become one of the most trusted names in the Southern California roofing industry, as well as an inspirational business leader championing social corporate responsibility.

A well-respected and widely known roofing expert, entrepreneur and humanitarian, Charles is a board member of the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) also serving on the Image and Outreach Committee. He is also a member of The Roofing Alliance for Progress and serves on the Roofing Technology Think Tank (RT3). Additionally, he is a member of the Board of Directors for Orange County Habitat for Humanity (Habitat OC), through which Antis Roofing & Waterproofing has donated every roof installation of every home built by Habitat OC since 2009. Charles also serves the following organizations, where his passion and experience as a local thought leader for corporate social responsibility inspires others into “doing well by doing good.”

Charles has been the recipient of many prestigious awards over the years and was honored in 2018 with the Business of the Year from the Greater Irvine Chamber of Commerce.  In 2017 Antis was honored by the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation Corporate Citizen Award, Small and Mid-Size Business. In 2017, he was also named as National Philanthropy Day Honoree, Outstanding Corporation or Business, Mid-Size; the Civic 50 Orange County Honoree; and received the top honor with the CNA Insurance/National Roofing Contractors Association (CNA/NRCA) Community Involvement Award.

Charles Antis is a sought-after speaker, panelist, podcast and radio show guest.  He was featured in 2018 as the keynote at the Irvine Chamber of Commerce Legends and Leaders breakfast; and at the US Chamber of Commerce Corporate Citizenship conference.The Antis “model for giving – give to grow” has been featured in two books:  “How Goodness Pays” written by Paul Batz with Paul Hillen; and “Unlocking High Performance” by Jason Lauritsen.

 

As a proponent of multi-tenant housing ownership education, Charles served for more than 20 years on the Education Committee of the Community Associations Institute (CAI), teaching maintenance responsibilities to board members and community managers. He is a former 20-year member of Vistage 390. He attended Brigham Young University and lives with his wife and children in Irvine, California.
