Jack F. Scalo began his career at the Burns & Scalo Roofing Company working in the warehouse and on the roofing crews during school breaks from 1975-1981, and advanced to the Vice President position in 1982. Promoted to the President and Chief Executive Officer in 1997, Jack has been responsible for the growth and future direction of the company. In addition to successfully growing and leading a second-generation family business, he has started 6 other related businesses and expanded regionally:

• Burns & Scalo – Pennsylvania – second generation business (founded 1956)
• Cuddy Roofing – Union – Pittsburgh company (founded 1991)
• Scalo, Inc. – Support services company for all Scalo operating companies (founded 1996)
• Burns & Scalo Ohio – Central Ohio – Ohio branch operation (founded 2000)
• Scalo Solar Companies – Solar EPC and Developer (founded 2010)
• NEXGEN Design Systems – Wall panel design, fabrication, and installation (founded 2016)
• Burns & Scalo Roof Asset Management (founded 2016)
