Coating Receives Energy Star Award

Solarguard Ultra receives Energy Star® certification.

Republic Powdered Metals, Cleveland, announced that Solarguard Ultra, a white elastomeric acrylic roof coating received Energy Star® certification. The coating is a high-solids, water-based elastomeric roof coating that provides single-ply, modified-bitumen, smooth built-up and polyurethane-foam roofs with a reflective surface to reduce energy costs. The coating is also excellent for restoring and weatherproofing weathered roof membranes. It is VOC compliant and asbestos free.
