Roofing contractors and industry professionals gather in Kissimmee for the nation’s largest regional roofing trade show
A sold-out show floor drew roofing contractors and other industry professionals to the 96th Annual FRSA Annual Convention and Expo last week at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Kissimmee, Fla.
Organizers said the show sold out on its expanded exhibitor space two months before the event.
In addition to the crowded show floor and numerous networking opportunities, roofing contractors were able to participate in 17 industry-specific educational programs for a total of 25 hours of continuing education credit. Seminar topics included OSHA updates, Advanced Florida Building Code 6th Edition, and energy code roofing requirements.
Planning is already underway for next year’s expo, which moves to July 17-19 at the Gaylord Palms Resort.

Some of the world’s most creative minds in architecture, design and building materials development met in New York City for the AIA Conference on Architecture.
In addition to show floor, attendees could choose from more than 160 educational seminars and workshops, and had access to one-of-a-kind tours of some of the city’s iconic buildings led by expert designers.
Jill Bloom, publisher of Roofing Contractor and sister publication Building Enclosure, was there and provided this exclusive photo gallery. Be sure to comment about your show highlight, if you were there.
