SFS Stadler Inc., Medina, Ohio, offers isofast™ fastening systems, developed by the company following extensive research on ergonomic-related injuries to roofers. The research showed that back, knee and wrist strain from bending to install pressure plates and screw with conventional screw guns and repetitive installation, resulted in injuries, high turnover and poor-quality installations. The isofast fastening system reduces worker fatigue and injuries, resulting in less turnover, lower workers comp costs and increased productivity. The system can be used to install waterproof roof coverings on a wide array of roofing projects.
