A New Roof Tile Ridge Vent MonierLifetile, Irvine, Calif., along with one of its parent companies, Lafarge Braas Roofing, has introduced Figaroll into the U.S. market. Figaroll is a universal ridge vent and weather block that works for all profiles of roof tile. It is constructed of a water-repellant breathable fleece with a tear-proof stretch grid and has good ventilation quality — 7.3 square inches per foot. The fleece is sonically welded to an aluminum reinforced pleated side panel that stretches up to 50 percent of its original length. The rolls are available in either 16.4-foot or 32.8-foot lengths with color options of red and charcoal.
