Dow Funds Community Center Renovation and New Homes in Durban
The Dow Chemical Co., Midland, Mich., provided funding to Habitat for Humanity for a community center renovation and a new 10-home building project in Durban, South Africa, expanding upon its current involvement with Habitat for Humanity and the Jimmy Carter Work Project 2002 in South Africa.
Kathleen Bader, Dow Business Group president, presented two checks totaling $72,000 to Tim Dougherty, director of resource development for Habitat for Humanity Africa & Middle East.
