Atas International Inc., Allentown, Pa., a manufacturer of metal roofing and wall- and ceiling-panel systems, has purchased the manufacturing operations of Kovach Inc., a metal roof and wall systems manufacturer in Mesa, Ariz. While Kovach will retain its construction and BEMO divisions, Atas has acquired most of Kovach’s other assets and product lines. Atas will relocate its San Diego operations to the new facility in Mesa. Along with this new location, Atas will continue to serve all geographic markets with current locations in Allentown, Pa., and Knoxville, Tenn.
Foam Enterprises Agrees to Purchase Premium Polymers
Foam Enterprises Inc., Minneapolis, has reached an agreement with Premium Polymers Inc., a subsidiary of Flexible Products Co., to acquire Premium’s 241 Series spray-polyurethane foam roofing business. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
