Crane Products Ltd., Columbus, Ohio, offers the Waterfall® Gutter Guard System, now available in 4-foot sections, which accompany its standard 8-foot sections. The 4-foot sections were developed in response to contractor requests for shorter sections that would increase the installation flexibility of the product. The system consists of louvered-vinyl gutter guards with tiered slants installed across the tops of the gutters and under the edge of the first row of shingles. As rainwater flows off the roof and over the sloping slats of the gutter guard, the natural surface tension of the water causes it to flow over the guard’s contour and then channels it through drain holes into the gutter, while leaves, twigs and other debris fall over the slots onto the ground below.
