Senco, Cincinnati, introduces two 11-gauge pneumatic coil nailers that offer rugged construction, light weight and advanced design. The RoofPro 455XP is the latest addition to the company's top-of-the-line XtremePro series of tools. The nailer is designed for asphalt and fiberglass shingle nailing, for both new roofs and reroofing projects. It is also great for attaching tar paper, metal drip edges, insulation board and, with a special attachment, vinyl and aluminum siding. Featuring a tough aluminum main housing and cap to survive punishing environments, the 5.4 pound nailer is still light enough for one-handed operation. The new adjustable 120-nail canister accommodates an entire range of true round-head smooth-shank roofing nails (3/4 inch to 1 ¾ inches). For the more value-minded tool buyer, the ProSeries RoofPro 450 offers a similar array of features and benefits but at a lower cost. The RoofPro 450 still weighs in at 5.9 pounds and features sturdy aluminum main housing and cap construction.
