Follansbee, Follansbee, W.Va., introduces a new stamped diamond-pattern metal shingle for residential and commercial roofing projects. Conklin Metal Industries is providing the technology for the shingle, which will be manufactured from the company's TCS II®, Terne II® and KlassicKolors®. Corrosion-resistant and durable, these shingles can be installed over existing asphalt shingles. Conklin's design includes a specially developed side lock, which permits them to be installed quickly and easily without soldering. The side-lock system allows for thermal contraction and expansion and is completely watertight. Deep cross crimps prevent water from being blown under the end laps.
