Atlas Roofing Corp., Atlanta, introduces Vented-R® CrossVent, the latest innovation in roof insulation technology. Expanding on Vented-R® insulation, Cross-Vent is designed using “GreenZoneTM Approved” thermally efficient polyiso ACFoam® rigid board insulation with vent strips of 1 inch, 1.5 inches or 2 inches separating 7/16-inch APA/TECO rated OSB from polyiso rigid insulation to create a ventilating air space. This new design creates cross-ventilation over sloped unventilated roof decks allowing for maximum heat dissipation. The combination of a high-quality nailing surface and excellent Long Term Thermal Resistance (LTTR) value in energy efficient polyiso insulation makes installing this a one-step process that saves time and long-term energy costs.
