LITSCO Industries, Glendale, N.Y., announced that it has received Factory Mutual approval on its proprietary Streamline® product line of roof perimeter flashing systems. The nonpenetrating Streamline® Flashdown Fascia System utilizes a continuous stainless steel anchor bar and pre-finished aluminum or galvanized steel cover to hold down the edge of installed roof flashings without penetrating them or “stripping” them in. This system, ideal for use with heavier modified bitumen-based flashing membranes, received a I-150 FM rating. The Streamline Plytight Fascia System for single-ply roof systems received an enhanced I-180 FM rating, and can be utilized with any ballasted, adhered or mechanically fastened single-ply roof system. The Streamline Snap-On Coping System, which utilizes concealed anchor plates to cleat either pre-finished aluminum or galvanized steel coping covers to parapet walls, received an I-90 wind uplift rating.
