Owens Corning, Toledo, Ohio, designed its PROPINK loose-fill insulation for use in new and existing residential and light construction projects. Specifically, the product is said to be ideal for insulating hard-to-reach areas such as ceiling and wall applications. Since fiberglass insulation is non-combustible and non-corrosive, this blown-in insulation does not require the addition of fire-retardant chemicals. The product does not support fungus or mold growth, or provide sustenance for insects or vermin.
