The Icynene Insulation System is a spray-in-place light density foam insulation. It is designed to completely air seal the building envelope against air movement, reduce air-borne sound and increase energy efficiency. Because the foam is made to be inert, it will not shrink, sag, settle, slip, turn to dust or decline in R-value over time. The insulation, which is manufactured by Icynene Inc., Mississauga, Ontario, also has no harmful emissions.
