Venture Tape, Rockland, Mass., produces tapes with the “CW” acrylic adhesive system, which is designed to give the tapes superior performance in temperatures as high as 260 degrees and as low as minus 30 degrees. There is no need for heating the tape prior to application. The “CW” formula is available on most of Venture’s insulation tapes, as well as its foil tapes and duct-board tapes. The tapes have a long shelf life, and it is not necessary to store them in a climate-controlled room.
