Jobsite, Grand Junction, Colo., introduces the PS600™ Portable Stud Forming Machine. The machine offers two new features. The first is the capability to produce four different sizes of stud or track, including 2 1/2-, 3 1/2-, 5 1/2- and 6-inch widths. This machine also comes equipped with four quick-change shear cassettes to make switching between the different sizes easy. The second new feature is the machine’s ability to produce stud or track in a standard C-shaped profile. This profile meets American Iron & Steel Institute design standards as well as current U.S. building codes for residential structures. Other standard features include a programmable cut controller, adjustable decoiler, automatic oiler, a hydraulic shear, and a flying punch.
