Firestone Building Products Co., Carmel, Ind., announced that it has acquired the TPO membrane manufacturing assets of Serrot International, a division of Waste Management Inc. Assets acquired include an 80,000-square-foot production and warehouse facility in Wellford, S.C., as well as two TPO roofing manufacturing lines. One line is currently located in Wellford while the second line, located in Henderson, Nev., will be relocated to Wellford within the next few months. For several years prior to the acquisition, Serrot produced TPO roofing membrane for sale by Firestone.
