CHICAGO - The Chicago Roofing Contractors Associations' annual trade show is quite well known for its uncanny ability to coincide with the nastiest of winter weather conditions. A happy exception was Jan. 19-20 in Oakbrook Terrace, Ill., for the group's 23rd annual event, where it was a sunny 54 degrees. A busy trade show floor featured nearly 150 exhibits with the industry's latest offerings. A solid slate of educational programs also was presented. Topics covered included "What's Hot in the Industry," "Preventing Field Mistakes," "Roofing Underlayments," Modified Bitumen," "Rooftop Safety" and "Energy Efficient Sloped Systems."
