ORLANDO, Fla. - More than 105,000 housing professionals gathered in Orlando for the 2006 International Builders' Show (IBS), making it the most well attended annual convention in the history of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). The four-day expo began Jan. 11 and filled the Orange County Convention Center with a record 967,000 net square feet of exhibits showcasing innovative products and services aimed specifically at the residential and light commercial construction industries. The roofing segment was well represented, and members from GAF Materials Corp., shown in the photo above, were on hand to spotlight the company's products, including Deck-Armor™, which offers premium roof deck protection with revolutionary "breathable" technology that helps prevent inside moisture from becoming trapped within the roofing system and causing structural damage.
