MIDLAND, Mich. - Dow Building Solutions, a business group of The Dow Chemical Co., announced it will construct a new facility in the city of LaPorte, Texas. This new plant will provide Dow with production capacity required to transition its entire North American STYROFOAM™ manufacturing asset base to next-generation insulating formulations, consistent with proposed federal requirements anticipated to take effect in 2010.
