MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Centria announced its sponsorship of the 2007 Carnegie Mellon University’s Solar Decathlon, a global competition sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy where 20 college teams from the United States, Europe, and Canada design, build and operate the most livable, energy-efficient completely solar-powered house. The team that compiles the most points over 10 contests held Oct. 10-20 on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., is declared the overall winner.
