BARBERTON, Ohio - CPI Inc (Construction Polymers International) announced the opening of its Foam School at its Barberton, Ohio, headquarters. The school will teach contractors, builders and architects about foam applications throughout the building envelope. The training center includes classrooms and indoor spray application labs including a mock-up stud wall. Students learn to apply the foam using the latest proportioning equipment fully suited to simulate a real job environment. Specialty classes will cover various types of applications from insulation to roofing, with seminars covering Graco and GlasCraft equipment. A written test is required for a certificate of completion.
“The Foam School combines all elements of the business in a single seminar: selling and marketing the contractors’ services, estimating, applying the product and maintaining the equipment at peak efficiency,” explained Dirk Benthien, CEO of CPI.
