Twenty years after developing the first sliding compound miter saw, Hitachi announced two new 8 1/2-inch sliding compound miter saws, the C8FSE and C8FSHE. In 1988, Hitachi’s original C8FB combined the cutting capacity of a radial arm saw with the tight tolerances and portability of a miter saw. Today’s new tools continue Hitachi’s tradition of quality engineering along with additional features, such as a laser guide and LED work light. The C8FSE and C8FSHE are the lightest saws in their class.
