PV Systems has launched the UK’s first solar slate roof tile. By blending the latest photovoltaic technology with a slate tile, it has been successfully installed on a Grade 1 Listed building. Heritage Solar Slate is a newly released, product from PV Systems, the UK’s longest established photovoltaic company. Solar Slate embodies the usual benefits of solar, but overcomes some of the obstacles met by traditional installations. Because of its remarkable slate-like appearance, it has been successfully installed on a Grade 1 Listed property in Wiltshire, and has met with full planning approval. Heritage Solar Slate comes in an easy install kit form producing between 600 Watts and 3 Kilowatts per pack.
