FORT WORTH, Texas – The North Texas Roofing Contractors Association (NTRCA), a regional association for residential and commercial roofing contractors, distributors, manufacturers and associates, announced its new 2011 board of directors and the winners of two prestigious awards honoring those who have made significant contributions to the local roofing industry. The association also announces the launch of its rebranding campaign, which includes a new logo, a new tagline and new marketing materials.
During this year's NTRCA Gala and Awards Banquet, held Jan. 29, winners for the “Associate of the Year” and “Industry Leader” awards were announced and recognized for their significant contributions to NTRCA and the local roofing industry and for their exceptional client service. Past winners meet annually to choose each year’s new honorees.
The “Industry Leader” honor, the association's most prestigious recognition, was awarded toTim Rainey of Supreme Roofing Systems.
This year, for the first time, two “Associate of the Year” recipients were selected:Ron Schuler and Chuck Dupree of Spec Building Materials Corporation.
The 2011 NTRCA board members were also announced during the Gala and Awards Banquet.

A new NTRCA branding campaign was also launched at the annual event. As part of the organization’s rebranding effort, an updated logo was created to set NTRCA apart and to give the association a strong, clear identity. A new tagline, “Who’s On Your Roof?” was designed to reinforce the association’s commitment to serve as the premier resource in North Texas for its members as well as for homeowners and businesses looking for roofing contractors who maintain high standards.
The new tagline is the basis for an upcoming NTRCA campaign that will raise consumer awareness and help arm consumers with questions to ask any roofing contractor before hiring them. The new tagline and logo will be incorporated into all NTRCA communications and marketing efforts, including the website, membership bumper stickers, the NTRCA facebook page and other marketing materials.
“We’re excited to welcome the new board of directors and recognize leaders who exemplify the highest standards and dedication in the roofing industry,” said Karen Vermaire Fox, executive director of NTRCA and owner of Quindigo Management, a Fort Worth-based company that manages trade associations. “We’re also excited to launch a rebranding campaign that will help NTRCA continue to raise the bar in the roofing industry in North Texas.”
