ST. LOUIS - AGC Contracting, LLC has been hinting at its much-anticipated name change for months and now the wait is over. Moving forward, AGC Contracting, LLC announced it will now do business as Olneya Restoration Group.

The name Olneya was carefully chosen after much thought and research to find a name that symbolizes who the company is and the values it stands for in business practices.

Olneya is the genus of the Desert Ironwood tree. The Ironwood grows in the Sonoran Desert and is known as the “nurse tree.” It creates a special habitat that is crucial to the survival of hundreds of species of desert wildlife, animal and plant alike. Even though the Ironwood doesn't look like a very important tree, in reality it enables life in the desert to flourish. Without it, that life would cease to exist.

This is similar to the way in which Olneya Restoration Group views its services to the public. Although the company may seem insignificant at times, the service it provides is extremely important in a customer's time of need.

After a damaging storm rolls through your neighborhood, the company’s first responders will be on site to work with you and your insurance company in the process of restoring your home to what it once was. Every member of the Olneya team is dedicated to improving the lives of our customers through innovation, quality workmanship, and special attention to customer service. Olneya President and CEO Crystal Anderson said she is excited to present the new company to customers, vendors, friends, and family. She firmly believes the name change will solidify the company as a leader in the storm restoration industry and will further the growth and expansion of Olneya Restoration Group in the St. Louis area and beyond.

“The name change will help us be recognized as an individual and unique company,” Anderson said. “It will help us grow as a leader in the industry.”

In order to properly celebrate the name change, Olneya Restoration Group will host a Grand Re-Opening Celebration in their new Executive Office. A ribbon cutting will take place at 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19, followed by a the Grand Re-Opening party from 4-7 p.m. Door prizes for a few lucky attendees and tours of the new Olneya offices will take place, while BBQ and finger foods will be available for all guests to feast on.

Olneya Restoration Group provides excellent service to home and property owners by acting as an advocate on their behalf while undergoing storm restoration. Customer service is always top priority at Olneya, and it shows with their commitment to the people they serve. This name change does not reflect any change in ownership for AGC. Olneya Restoration Group remains locally owned and operated out of the St. Louis area as AGC has been since 2007.
