ROSEMONT, Ill. —Tecta America Corp. recently earned the 2012 Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Wisconsin Gold Safety Award of Honor. Presented to Milwaukee-based F.J.A. Christiansen Roofing Co., a Tecta America Company, this award honors companies that have proven their safety record for lost workday cases and shown that their total OSHA recordables are 10 percent above the industry average.

For more than 25 years, ABC has presented hundreds of safety awards to its members that recognize the extreme importance of maintaining safe practices in the construction industry. The Gold Safety Award of Honor was awarded to only 11 companies, all of which have consistently gone above and beyond the minimum safety requirements.

“We are very thrilled to receive this industry honor and pride ourselves on constantly fostering a safe work environment for our employees, customers and community,” said Noe Sanchez, Safety Director, F.J.A. Christiansen Roofing Co. “This accomplishment would not have been possible without the collaborated effort of our entire staff and the regular safety education that each Tecta America branch implements.”
