Lyones, Ill. — Runnion Equipment has named Michael F. Prochot as its new president, as the Lyons, Ill.-based dealer begins its thirty-eighth year of operation. Prochot, most recently vice president and general manager, succeeded Patrick Runnion, who is now the chief executive officer of the company.

“As a longtime employee at Runnion Equipment, Michael understands our business and knows our customers,” said Runnion. “We have grown significantly in the past few years, and I am confident we will continue to flourish under Michael’s leadership.”

As vice president of Runnion Equipment for 13 years, Prochot has been responsible for managing the company’s operations, finances, marketing, IT, and programs for insurance, safety, and training. Prior to joining Runnion Equipment, he served as vice president and chief financial officer with Bulley & Andrews Inc. for eight years. A Chicago native, Prochot has more than 35 years of experience in the crane and construction industry.

Runnion Equipment has been selling and servicing boom trucks throughout northern Illinois, northwest Indiana and southern Wisconsin since 1975.
