Garlock has introduced its LIFEPOINT™ STOP: a freestanding fall arrest system for surfaces with a maximum 5-degree incline. No component weighs more than 32 pounds, so it’s easy for one person to set up and move to a new location or jobsite. Design meets OSHA fall-arrest standards for one person weighing 310 pounds (including equipment). The system is tested and approved for single ply membrane, BUR, concrete, TPO and EPDM substrates. To use, clean substrate, stack the individual weights on top of the base, attach the center anchor, and then connect your OSHA-accepted tether.
