BOTHELL, Wash. — EagleView Technologies Inc. has announced that the 2014 FutureView User Conference is scheduled for Feb. 9-12, 2014 in San Antonio at the Marriott Rivercenter Hotel.
“FutureView is a chance for users of EagleView and Pictometry technologies to see the future through the eyes of imagery engineers, 3-D technicians and business solutions leaders,” explained EagleView President and CEO Chris Barrow. “The conference is a platform for users to learn, share best practices and literally get a glimpse of the future of the technologies that power their businesses.”
Educational sessions will be offered in at least six different tracks: GIS, Insurance, Construction, Assessment, Infrastructure and Public Safety with a variety of topics that include cross-market discussion panels, disaster relief solutions, property valuation trends, analytical tools for businesses and more. Market-specific training is offered throughout the conference in both classroom style and on a one-to-one level if more in-depth training is sought.
Attendees will experience firsthand the power of Critical Access Technology with demonstrations where aircraft will fly the area, capturing high-resolution images that will be immediately viewable and actionable. This technology is essential for post-catastrophe event response and management. The aircraft and camera systems will be onsite for an up-close-and-personal look at the technology that created the aerial oblique image industry.
FutureView was started by Pictometry International Corp. in 2006 as a meeting place for users to network and learn. It has now evolved into a full user conference offering educational tracks for all industries served by EagleView Technologies.
