Lyons, Ill. — Runnion Equipment recently hosted an open house to introduce businesses to its new location in Caledonia, Wis., and to demonstrate the capabilities of the new National Crane NBT 55 boom truck. Customers were invited to have hands-on time with the machine and meet the Runnion team. Brats, burgers and salad were served to celebrate the Wisconsin tailgate tradition during the event, which was held Sept. 18.
“We were thrilled with the turnout at our open house,” said President Mike Prochot.
“It was great to be able to introduce our new branch while letting customers experience the new National Crane NBT55 boom truck,” said CEO Pat Runnion. “We’re excited to offer the same quality parts, service and equipment in Wisconsin that our customers in Illinois now expect.”
The NBT55 series boom truck is the largest capacity boom truck to date from National Crane, available in 50- and 55-ton versions. The crane boasts fully integrated machine control and LMI, which is a first for the boom truck market. The crane also includes a new outrigger beam position sensing system to aid in load chart selection.
The new Runnion Equipment location is at 1021 A S 27 St. in Caledonia, Wis., where cranes can be purchased or rented. Runnion Equipment is the factory authorized dealer for the National Crane boom truck line in southern Wisconsin.
