PLYMOUTH, Minn. — On Monday, Nov. 11, NMC Exteriors, a family-owned roofing and contracting company in Plymouth, Minn., sponsored special fall fun for the kids at Children’s Hospital and Clinics Minnesota.
During a regularly scheduled game time, NMC’s mascot (a sleek, black panther) and the Owens Corning Pink Panther joined the kids to play Bingo. Children and mascots shared cookies and beverages, and each child received a stuffed pink panther to keep.
“It’s tough to be a kid and cooped up in the hospital. Bingo is their break, and we like add a little something special by bringing the Panthers to visit with fun surprises. I want to create a moment of happiness for each child we see,” NMC Owner Molly Mortenson said. “This hospital does such important work. We know — our daughter was a patient at Children’s. We experienced firsthand the kindness from strangers and want to give back.”
