MALVERN, Pa. – Three Sons Window and Door of Waltham, Mass., has earned its second Remodeler Project of the Quarter award from CertainTeed Corporation for outstanding work in a recent residential remodel. A CertainTeed Siding 5-Star Contractor, the company assembled a dynamic blend of CertainTeed products to revitalize the exterior of a 1950s-era single-family home in Northborough, Massachusetts.
“This home was over 50 years old and had a rather bland, white exterior that was in need of a serious update,” said Paul Nutile, president and lead sales for Three Sons Window and Door. “We’ve used CertainTeed products for more than 20 years and were confident that their broad selection of product styles, profiles and colors would provide us with the design aesthetic we needed to achieve. The homeowner was thrilled that we were able to create the fresh New England look and feel they desired.”
The exterior of the home, a split-level Ranch house, originally featured old bark wood siding in white with black trim and black roofing. Three Sons Window and Door collaborated with the homeowner to select a more vibrant exterior color blend from CertainTeed’s broad selection of beautiful, high-performance products. The remodel featured Cedar Impressions® Perfection Shingles in Charcoal Gray, Landmark® Roofing in Granite Gray, Restoration Millwork® Cellular PVC Trim in White, InvisiVent® Soffit, a Vinyl Carpentry® 4-piece Corner System, EverNew® Decking and Panorama® Composite Railing.
Three Sons Window and Door has won the Remodeler of the Quarter award once before in 2013.
“Three Sons Windows and Door has been a CertainTeed customer for many years and is well-deserving of a second Remodeler of the Quarter award,” said John Violante, manager, residential builder and remodeler programs at CertainTeed. “The exemplary work on this project demonstrates the company’s commitment to working with customers and manufacturer partners to create a durable home exterior with undeniable curb appeal.”
“The Three Sons team did a fine job of choosing low-maintenance, aesthetically pleasing exterior products that both give the home a regionally appropriate look and complement its architectural style,” said Richard DeMild, senior territory manager for CertainTeed Siding.
“Three Sons always provides excellent craftsmanship and top-notch customer service, making this award well deserved,” said Randy Hathaway, senior territory manager for CertainTeed Roofing.
