Patrick has been with Englert since April 2010. He began his career at Englert as director of operations. He has been a driving force in the modernization of Englert’s manufacturing plant, offsite locations, and freight and shipping processes.
“Over time, Brian has taken on more responsibilities leading up to his promotion,” said Debbie Tripod, Englert’s president and CEO of her decision to promote Patrick.
“Brian’s ability to analyze and solve problems and develop processes to improve efficiencies in freight, production and overall operations have resulted in a much safer and more efficient manufacturing and distribution operation.”
Patrick has been in charge of overseeing outside field service centers, distribution, and tolling sales and metal purchasing. He is currently working on a 3-year technology initiative - the M-5 computer system, which is going to touch all business segments, from scheduling of materials, distribution, and the placement of orders.
As a key member of the Englert management group Patrick has a strong commitment to teamwork, is an excellent leader, and well-respected supervisor.
He was born and raised in New Jersey. He graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y., and earned his MBA at Loyola University in Chicago, graduating summa cum laude. He previously worked at Jupiter Aluminum in Chicago as chief engineer, and at Jupiter Oxygen as director of development.
Brian and his wife Michelle, a flight attendant with American Airlines, have two children in high school, Simone, 15 and Owen, 14.
