The International Roofing Expo® (IRE) has announced the keynote speaker for 2017 is Retired Lt. Col. Rob “Waldo” Waldman, a combat-decorated U.S. Air Force fighter pilot and successful entrepreneur. Wald-man will kick off the 2017 IRE March 1, 2017, at 9:45 a.m. at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. 

During the keynote address, “Never Fly Solo! The Power of Partnership,” Waldman will share how he overcame claustrophobia and a fear of heights to become a pilot and relates his experiences to the roofing industry. His stories about overcom-ing adversity, earning trust and breaking performance barriers will help attendees learn the key to building a peak performance culture of trust lies with your wingmen — the people who help you navigate obstacles, adapt to change and achieve success.
