Tecta America, the national leader in commercial roofing, announced that Gary Wolfe, President of Wolfe Roofing and Sheet Metal, a Tecta Company, plans to retire at the end of the year. Wolfe has been a recognized leader in the industry for over 40 years. Wolfe sold his Reading, Pa. business to Tecta America in Sept. 2016.
After graduating from the Seton Hall University with a bachelor’s degree in industrial relations, Wolfe embarked on a lifelong career as an entrepreneur. Wolfe first worked at his father’s roofing company for two years before launching his own roofing company in 1973, when he was 23 years old. Wolfe sold his company in 2015 to Tecta America, the leading national commercial roofing company in the U.S., with over 50 locations and headquarters in Rosemont, Ill.
Wolfe is actively involved with his industry’s professional organizations, community groups and with his alma mater. He has served as the president of the NRCA Roofing Industry Alliance for Progress, the Roofers Mart of Central Pennsylvania, and the building Industries Exchange of Reading and Berks County, and has been a member of the Firestone National Contractor Advisory Committee. Wolfe is the director of the Maidencreek Fish & Game Club and served as a director of the South Mountain YMCA. He currently serves on the Seton Hall’s Stillman School’s Advisory Board. Gary has recently been named to Seton Hall University’s Entrepreneur Hall of Fame.

Tecta also announces that Jeffrey Koller will be named president of Tecta’s Wolfe operation beginning in January. Koller has been a senior project manager/estimator at Wolfe for 9 years. “Jeff will do a terrific job leading the company following Gary’s retirement”, said Santacrose. “He has big shoes to fill but he has a great team around him and we are confident he is ready to take on this challenge.”
