MT. PROSPECT, Ill. — FlashCo appointed Matt Froehlich to the newly created position of director of supply chain. Froehlich joined FlashCo as the plant manager in Mt. Prospect and has been building FlashCo’s supply chain network from his location near Chicago.
“FlashCo is on a strong growth curve and with our expansion strategy, it’s important for us to have a strong supply chain,” said Greg Morrow, FlashCo president. “Matt has a great background in supply chain management and he has been a major asset in helping us develop a leaner and more efficient centralized distribution system. We are very excited to add Matt’s expertise to our management team.”
Froehlich brings a wealth of experience to FlashCo with over 14 years of involvement in supply chain management and manufacturing. He has worked with a number of manufacturing companies developing lean oriented supply chain management systems.
“The company is very focused on our brand promise to save contractors time,” said Morrow. “Matt has been able to give us the structure we need to support our plants with materials and ultimately deliver products for our customers throughout the country.”
Throughout his career, Froehlich has been adept at utilizing lean philosophies to identify supply chain issues, eliminate waste and increase asset utilization. He has a BA in supply chain management from Michigan State University and a Master of science in management from Walsh College.
