PIEDMONT, S.C. - FlashCo has promoted Eric Compton to the position of director of operations. Compton has been serving in the role as interim director of operations for the past several months. Compton will be responsible for managing the operations at FlashCo’s five manufacturing plants throughout the U.S.
“Eric has done a great job as the interim Director of Operations and he has shown himself to be a strong leader. He helped guide FlashCo’s operations through a major transition last year as we moved two plants to major metropolitan areas,” said Greg Morrow, FlashCo president. “Eric is an important member of our management team and his abilities will be a critical part of our continued growth and expansion.”
Compton originally joined FlashCo in 2015 as the plant manager for the Piedmont, S.C. location. His extensive experience in technical operations, lean manufacturing and employee development has been a major asset for FlashCo.
“I have really enjoyed my time with FlashCo,” said Compton. “We have a great foundation for producing growth and I am excited to lead a team of outstanding people that I respect. I have been focused on building efficient production capabilities with world-class safety at each of our plants.”

Compton is a Six Sigma Green Belt and has a bachelor of business administration and operations management from the University of Michigan Flint. He is currently finishing work a master’s degree in business at Clemson University.
