WHEELING, W. Va. — West Virginia-based Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal held its annual charity golf events benefitting the Easter Seal Rehabilitation Center in Wheeling, West Virginia on July 12-15.
On July 12, a vendor sponsor dinner and check presentation were held at the Glessner Auditorium located at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling.
Easter Seals was presented with a check in the amount of $25,000 raised by Kalkreuth’s annual charity golf events. Kalkreuth’s vendor sponsors donated an additional $6,590 toward Easter Seals on July 13 for a grand total of $31,590.
The annual charity golf events consist of the Kalkreuth Vendor Invitational on July 13, held exclusively for the company’s vendor sponsors, and the Kalkreuth Amateur Golf Championship held on July 14 and 15 that it supports, which brings in over 200 amateur golfers from 10 different states.
Proceeds from these golf events contribute to the annual donation to the Easter Seal Rehabilitation Center. Their work is to create solutions that change the lives of children and adults with disabilities, or other special needs, and their families. No family is ever turned away for financial reasons, which makes donations like this so impactful.
“We are thankful for the continued support of our golf events, which ultimately give us the opportunity to provide a donation that continues to grow each year,” said KRSM President and CEO John Kalkreuth. KRSM has donated over $90,000 to Easter Seals over the last seven years and will continue to strive to be a good corporate citizen.
