WEST CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. — ASTM International’s committee on roofing and waterproofing has bestowed the William C. Cullen Award to Philip Dregger of Technical Roof Services and Pacific Building Consultants Inc. in Concord, Calif.
Dregger was recognized for his distinguished contributions and personal commitment to the roofing and waterproofing community through his dedication and leadership in the industry, particularly his numerous publications and presentations about condensation, wind damage, and roof drainage problems.
Dregger, president of Technical Roof Services Inc. and vice president of Pacific Building Consultants, has been an ASTM member since 1991. He has held his position since 1991, previously working for Twin City Corp. as a civil engineer, project engineer, roofing department supervisor, construction materials department manager and as the senior engineer for Wiss Janney Elstner Associates. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from the University of Minnesota.
In addition to ASTM, Dregger has served on the boards of directors of Roof Consultants Institute, Cool Roof Rating Council, Special Interest Group for Dynamic Evaluation of Roofing Systems, Roofing Industry Committee on Weather Issues, and as a faculty member of the Roof Industry Educational Institute.
