GLENDALE, Ariz. — Elite Roofing Supply recently held its annual “Tools for School” program for its more than 250 employees and their families.
Elite is a locally owned, independent distributor of roofing materials and supplies.
In a release, the company said its leadership understands the challenges and expenses related to getting children prepared for their education. To help ease the financial burden on its employees, Elite holds an annual event to provide the necessary tools for their children.
“We love this program because we value our employees and want to support their families in as many ways as possible,” said Chief Operating Officer Sarah Weiss.
Started in 2016, the “Tools for School” program involves each of its 12 branch managers buying needed resources such as backpacks, lunch boxes and school supplies for every employee’s children ages three to 23 years of age who are enrolled in school. Employees provide the supply list given by the school, as well as what the children are interested in – whether it is a certain sports team or TV or movie character – so that they are provided materials that are uniquely suited to the student.
“The best part, however, is to see the smiles on the faces of these young students. I look forward to this time of year because of those happy faces,” Weiss said.
Elite Roofing Supply is a locally owned, independent distributor of roofing materials and supplies currently serving Arizona, California, Colorado, and Louisiana with a fleet of over 60 trucks to ensure timely deliveries for its customers. The company was founded in 2013.
