ROSEMONT, Ill. — Tecta America has acquired the business of RSS Roofing Services & Solutions.
St. Louis, Mo.-based RSS Roofing Services & Solutions, founded in 1895 and member of the Roofing Contractor Century Club, will operate as Roofing Services and Solutions (RSS), Tecta America Company L.L.C.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

We are also excited to expand Tecta's union workforce with this acquisition – along with our existing union operations in Chicago, Indianapolis, New Jersey/New York and the Bay area in California," said Mark Santacrose, Tecta's president and CEO, in a press release.

RSS Roofing Services & Solutions is a nationally recognized, design-bid-build roofing contractor covering projects of all sizes for the commercial, industrial and institutional markets. RSS installs roofing projects of all sizes for industrial plants, schools, churches, hospitals, office buildings, shopping centers, banks and more. RSS also provides a customized Roof Asset Management Program, which assesses the roof and outlines an ongoing preventative maintenance plan to extend the life of the roof. Also available is an on-call Rapid Response Team for emergency repairs.
Tecta America was recently acquired by Toronto-based investment firm Altas Partners. The deal is expected to close by the end of the year. Terms were not disclosed.
Tecta America was No. 2 on RC's 2018 Top 100 Roofing Contractors list with reported revenue of $500 million. The company has more than 3,000 employees operating at more than 60 locations in the U.S.
