MASHANTUCKET, Conn. — The North/East Roofing Contractors Association is kicking off its 93rd Annual Convention & Trade Show today.

The event is being held at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Conn.

It runs through Wednesday (March 20).

The annual event is one of the largest regional roofing tradeshows in the country. Among other things, it delivers quality education and is set to feature nearly 200 booths displaying products and services aimed at roofing professionals.

In addition to the displays and education sessions, NERCA will hold its annual business meeting and breakfast on Wednesday The featured speaker will be Marc Fucarile, a former roofer who lost a leg as a result of the 2013 Boston Marathon Bombings. Among other things, he will talk about dealing with the new and difficult challenges he faced and works to overcome.

Although online registration is now closed for the event, attendees can still register onsite.
